Fitch Ratings has upgraded the long-term credit rating of BDB to 'BBB+'
The international rating agency Fitch has upgraded the long-term credit rating of the Bulgarian Development Bank from BBB to BBB+ with a stable outlook. This level is in line with the agency's rating for the Republic of Bulgaria following its decision to join the euro zone, demonstrating confidence in both the country's financial stability and in the state-owned bank.

Three-month EURIBOR update as of June 2025
According to the approved methodology applied by BDB Microfinance, the average annual interest rate on loans is influenced by the market index 3-month EURIBOR, which is recalculated and changed as stipulated in the General Terms and Conditions and the loan agreements - four times a year - on the respective payment due date in March, June, September and December.
